CFP: 1998 National Convention of the Popular Culture Association and
American Culture Association (Buena Vista Hotel, Orlando, FL; Wednesday
April 8-Saturday April 11).

VICTORIANA THEN AND NOW: What images of gender, leisure, and/or class from
Victorian popular culture are still active now, and in what forms (of
calendars, greeting cards or address books, clothing, jewelry...) are they
passed on to us? Why are we still consuming these particular Victorian
images today?

The panel will concentrate on British Victoriana.
