UPDATE: Redefining & Examining Gender Issues (grad) (1/30; 3/12-3/13)

The previous deadline of 1/10 has been changed to 1/30. All participants
willl be notified of acceptance within one week of the new deadline.

The Association of Graduate English Students (AGES) at Kent State University
invites submissions of 250 word abstracts for presentations concerning
gender in any area of English studies including literature, composition and
rhetoric, theory, and cultural criticism, as well as interdisciplinary
studies. The conference will begin on Friday afternoon, March 12 and
concludes the following afternoon. Possible topics include: body/identity
politics, gender theory, queer theory and any other gender-related topics.
Studies from all periods are welcome.

If you send a written submission, submit two abstract copies containing only
the title of the work (no name). Attach a cover sheet including:name, paper
title, address, phone number, e-mail address, and academic affiliation. If
you prefer to send a written submission, please send it to Edward Dauterich,

44242-0001. E-mail submissions are encouraged. If you wish to e-mail your
abstract, send it and any questions to edauteri@kent.edu
