I am pleased to announce that Tulane University will host the MELUS
(Multi-Ethnic Literatures of the United States) conference in the year
2000. The conference, which will be held on Tulane's campus will take
place March 9-12th, an ideal time to visit the city of New Orleans. The
special theme of the Conference is "Multi-Ethnic Literatures and the Idea
of Social Justice" and a call for papers along with other conference
details is now available on the internet at http://www.tulane.edu/~adst/
The deadline for the proposals is October 15th, 1999.
I encourage you to submit a paper and/or panel proposal and seek
your help in further advertising this conference among interested
colleagues.
Best
