RHETORIC

FOR THE ON-LINE PORTION
OF THE FEDERATION RHETORIC
SYMPOSIUM TO BE HELD AT
TEXAS WOMAN'S UNIVERSITY
THIS SPRING

ON-LINE PAPERS WILL BE
DISCUSSED EXCLUSIVELY VIA
PANEL-SPECIFIC LISTSERVS FROM
APRIL 30, 1999 TO MAY 7, 1999

PROPOSAL DEADLINE: MARCH 1,
1999

Detailed proposals for conventional-
length papers on any aspect of the
topic-Bakhtin and rhetoric-are
invited. This pre-approved panel will be
among several on-line panels in the
cyberspace extension of the April 30,
1999 meeting of the North Texas Area
Universities Federation Rhetoric
Symposium, a yearly event, to be held at
Texas Woman's University near Dallas.
The on-line portion of the symposium
will be conducted entirely
asynchronously via panel-specific
listservs from April 30 through May 7.

(beginning ca. Feb. 15). Final papers
must be submitted electronically and will
be due April 15.
