CFP: Chaucer (3/15; PAMLA, 11/5-11/7)

The 1999 annual meeting of the Pacific Ancient and Modern Language
Association (PAMLA) will have one session on "Chaucer and Related Topics" (a
separate session on medieval literature more generally will also be held);
submissions for this panel may address any aspect of Chaucer's work. The
conference will be held November 5-7, 1999, at Portland State University in
Portland, Oregon.

Send a 50-word abstract with either a 250-500 word abstract or a completed
paper by March 15, 1999, to: Carrie Etter, Department of English and
Comparative Literature, University of California-Irvine, Irvine, CA 92697-2650.

Presenters must be members of PAMLA by April 15, 1999.
