Call for Papers:
        1999 South Central MLA Annual Convention
        Memphis, Tennessee October 28-30, 1999

Papers are invited for an Allied Session, The Society for Critical
Exchange, on "Women, Class, and Sexuality in Southern Fiction."
The overall Conference Theme is "Intersections."

Proposals for this session should address the ways that class and
sexuality (and reproduction) intersect within the representations
of women in Southern fiction.

250-500 word abstracts or completed papers (suitable for 15-20 minute
presentation) must be postmarked by March 15, 1999. Panelists must be
SCMLA member by May 15, 1999.
