Call for Papers: 14th Annual International Conference in Literature, Visual
Arts, and/or Cinema
November 5-7, 1999, Atlanta, Georgia
Essays focus on any conception of utopia and/or dystopia in literature,
visual arts, cinema, and/or culture are invited. Papers (not to exceed 20
minutes presentation tume) may be in English, French, German, Italian, and
Spanish. As a special feature of this year's conference we will accept
proposals on THE WORKS OF JORGE LUIS BORGES, honoring the centenary of his
birth (1899-1999).
Selected papers will be published.
Deadline for 1-page abstracts (submit in duplicate): April 23, 1999. Mail,
