Submissions are invited for a collection of interdisciplinary essays to be published under the heading "Crime, Madness and Sensation, 1800-1900" Contributors are invited to interpret the tittle as broadly as they see fit but possible themes include: crime/sensation fiction and writers the city crime reporting/journalism criminal trials pyschology/psychiatry prostitution forensics
