Aboat Goa: A beautiful resort on the picturesque central west coast
of India, Goa offers some of the finest beaches in the country. It is
well connected by air, rail, and road to Mumbai, the commercial
capital of India. A former Portuguese colony, it has medieval
churches, temples, and a benign sea for water sports. Participants
may wish to combine visits to places such as Ajanta and Ellora caves,
Mahabaleswar, Jaipaur and Udaipur, Khajuraho, and Hyderabad with their
trip to the conference.
Travel to Mumbai/Delhi: All international carriers fly into
Mumbai/Delhi. Ticket prices are competitive and vary between
$1200-2200 in the economy class. Since December is the peak tourist
season, conference participants will need to make travel reservations
as early as July or August. Travel Exchange (214-871-7611) of Dallas
has provided reliable service at competitive price for our conference
participants in the past (contact: Hasu Tailor).
