CALL FOR PAPERS:
THE ROLE OF CIVIL SOCIETY
IN ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT
WITH A FOCUS ON LATIN AMERICA
This track is concerned with the impact, or lack thereof,
of civil society, social capital and trust on economic development with the
focus on Latin America. Original research and theoretical construct papers
are encouraged.
There is a growing discourse on the meaning and contribution
of civil society to economic and social development. Focusing on Latin
America will permit substantive discussions that are temporal and appropriate
for future directions of research, education and policy development.
The strand will be a part of the 4th Annual Congress in Puebla,
Mexico, 29 September - 3 October. For full information about past
