Papers are invited for the MLA 1999 Special Session "POETIC REVOLUTIONS."
How have French political revolutions influenced women poets and their
work? Papers should consider reactions to uprisings, including evolving
visions of poetic authority, voice, aesthetics, and the status of the
female artist.
