The topic for this year's session is:

"Readings that Matter: Queering (Con)Texts."

Broadly conceived, this panel is meant to a thinking through of the

and/or political and/or pleasurable process and project. Papers
considering what it means to "queer" a text, a reading process, or a
specific text/culture and what the consequences of this practice are
will be given special attention. All papers generally engaging
questions of gay/lesbian sexuality and literature will be considered.
