ICAF 1999: "Culture, Industry, Discourse"
Comic art studies is an interdisciplinary field, owing to comic
art's many dimensions: as an aspect of (popular) culture; as an
industrial and artistic practice; and as a distinct narrative
form with traditions and concerns all its own. ICAF welcomes
papers which address this multidimensional nature of comic art
from a variety of perspectives.
