For a proposed panel at the 8th International Women Writers of Color
Conference:
Early Native American Women Writers: I am defining "early" to mean before
the current Renaissance that began with the publication of _House Made of
Dawn._ Possible topics include oral literature, autobiography or memoir,
testimony, poetry, assimilation, resistance, spirituality.
The conference will occur in Ocean City, MD. Send 1-2 page abstracts to
