CALL FOR PAPERS Broadway Media Centre and Nottingham Trent University will be hosting an international symposium to mark Hitchcock's centenary. The weekend will include screenings, presentations and discussions on all aspects of Hitchcock's work in Britain, Europe and America; both silent and sound productions and we welcome contributions on areas such as: Hitchcock and Acting, Hitchcock and Advertising, Hitchcock and Art, Hitchcock and Auteurism, Hitchcock and Saul Bass, Hitchcock and his Collaborators, Hitchcock and Comedy Hitchcock and Costume, Hitchcock in Europe, Hitchcock and Feminism, Hitchcock and Gender, Hitchcock and Hollywood, Hitchcock and the Novel, Hitchcock and Masculinity, Hitchcock and The Millennium, Hitchcock and National Cinema, New Approaches to Hitchcock, Hitchcock and Propaganda, Hitchcock and Psychoanalysis, Hitchcock and Alma Revill, Hitchcock and Set Design, Hitchcock and Stars, Hitchcock and Selznick, Hitchcock and Silent Cinema, Hitchcock and Sound, Hitchcock and Theatre. All presentations should be no longer than 20 minutes and illustrated in some way. Broadway has the capability to screen all film formats; VHS and BETA video and slides. We may be able to organise previews of specific films at Broadway on Thursday July 22 during the day. Please indicate if you need to see any specific material.
