The XIIIth Medieval-Renaissance Conference (Clinch Valley College of
the University of Virginia, Sept. 16-18, 1999) is pleased to announce a
special session on Teaching the Middle Ages. This session seeks papers
dealing with issues related to teaching medieval subjects-including art,
history, literature, philosophy, theology, etc.-at the undergraduate,
secondary, and pre-secondary levels. Proposals for papers on any aspect of
teaching this period are welcome.
Please submit a brief abstract accompanied by a one-page vita by July 1 to:
