The Department of Humanities at Concordia University in Portland announces
the forthcoming convocation of
Vero Nihil Verius:
The 4th Annual Edward de Vere Studies Conference
an international convocation of independent, graduate and post-graduate
scholars
who gather at Concordia University in Portland each Spring to share new
research on the Edward de Vere and Shakespeare Authorship Question
with special attention dedicated to contemporary research that contributes
to arguments proposing the possible authorship of the Shakespeare canon by
Edward de Vere,
17th Earl of Oxford
The Conference Director invites papers of approximately 30 minutes' reading
length.
To apply for a place on the conference agenda, please submit,
for reception by 20 January 2000, a 500-word abstract, along with a CV or a
brief professional biography, to:

The Conference convenes on the campus of Concordia University
in Portland, Oregon from April 6-9, 2000.
