"Romantic Prose Fiction" - a new volume in the ICLA Comparative
Literary History Series
A new volume on Romantic Prose Fiction has been planned for the
Romanticism subseries of the Comparative History of Literatures in
European Languages, under the aegis of the International
Comparative Literature Association. The editors invite proposals of
chapters with crosscultural or interdisciplinary sweep on all
aspects of Romantic imaginative narration in prose. This volume
will strive to encompass the literary streams of most of Europe and
the New World expressed in European languages.
In submitting a topic for consideration, please indicate briefly some
of the characteristic authors and works you will treat. Potential
