Looking for papers devoted to the literary and cultural histories of
spirituality in nineteenth-century America. This can include studies of
transcendentalism, Modern Spiritualism, utopian and reform communities, even
domestic ideologies of angelic women in both antebellum and postbellum
literature. Studies of periodicals and popular literature are welcome.
