Graduate Student Caucus Session for ASECS 2000

  "Multidiscipline and Punish."

This session invites panelists to discuss endeavors related to the 18th
C. that they have been involved with that span across two or more
disciplines. Presenters may discuss interdisciplinary publications that
they have participated in, such as a journal, a monograph, or an edited
book; electronic projects that involve multiple disciplines; or teaching
experiences that span the traditional academic boundaries, such as
teaching the 18th C. in a learning community, or a specific multidisciplinary
course. Of course we welcome submissions on ideas not mentioned here. We
would like panelists to discuss any obstacles that they encountered in
working across disciplines and how these can be overcome as well as the
benefits and rewards of their project.

Please submit abstracts by September 15, 1999 to:

Catherine M. Rodriguez

Please note that addresses printed for this panel in the ASECS bulletin
are incorrect as I am relocating this summer. Sorry for any inconvenience
that this causes.

[I am submitting this for the above person, please do _not_ send abstracts
to me. Thanks]
