</center>Literary, psychological, historical, sociological, or
interdisciplinary representations of cultural conflict and women are
encouraged. For example, conflicts may occur between women and the
dominant culture, between women of diverse non-dominant cultures, between
women characters, or between male and female characters. Cross-cultural,
cross-generational, and cross-generic conflicts may also be included.
Genres that might be treated include fiction, poetry, diaries, newspaper
accounts, television production, biography, and autobiography or music
videos. Please include audio-visual requests with your proposal.
DEADLINE: September 5, 1999. Please send papers, proposals, or 100-word
abstracts to:
