of the Popular Culture Association (PCA)
and the American Culture Association (ACA)

April 19-22, 2000
New Orleans, LA, at the Marriott Hotel

The Elizabethan and English Renaissance Area of the Popular Culture
Association invites submissions on any aspect of popular culture in England
from c. 1500-1700 for the 30th annual National Conference of the Popular
Culture Association at the Marriott Hotel, New Orleans, La, April 19-22, 2000.

TOPICS may include (but are not limited to) popular entertainment, popular
literature, popular music literacy, education, dress, gender, self and group
identity, popular religion, popular politics, regionalism and nationalism.

SINGLE papers or panels of four will be considered.
