CALL FOR PAPERS

OKLAHOMA CULTURE

21st Southwest/Texas Popular Culture/American Culture
Conference
Sheraton Old Town
Albuquerque, New Mexico
February 9-12, 2000

This particular area is designed to incorporate a multi-disciplinary approach
in the examination of any and all aspects of Oklahoma culture (history,
literature, folklore, politics, the arts, etc.). Presentations by students
and professional scholars alike are encouraged.

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES: A 200-word abstract should be sent to the area chair
at the address below before December 1, 1999. Panels of 3 or 4
presenters, roundtable sessions, or alternative formats are encouraged.
Audiovisual needs (VCR, monitor, 16mm slide projector) must be included with
your proposal.
