Seeking submissions for a panel entitled "Women and Disability in Film" at
the 2000 Society for Cinema Studies conference in Chicago March 9-12.
Topics might include the following: how disabled women are depicted
differently from disabled men; physical vs. mental disabilities; "passing"
for able-bodied; women's responses to others with disabilities; gender as
disability.
