Established scholars as well as scholarly graduate students are invited
to present papers for a panel entitled Transformations of Masculine and
Feminine Subjectivity in Postmodern Cinema. A variety of theoretical
approaches are encouraged along with analyses of either Hollywood or
experimental genres. Major changes in contemporary cinema's imaging of
feminine and masculine subject positions in a variety of genres will
provide a rich forum for analyses. Send abstracts or papers by Sept.
