Session Title:
TEACHERS/TEACHING IN LITERATURE: MODELS OF CLASSROOM PRACTICE
Most teachers of literature would cite many of their own teachers as the
models for their pedagogical practice. However, many models exist in the
literature we teach, as well. What are some of those models, and what
implications/effects might they have for/on our classroom practice?
Papers should consider one or more examples of teachers/teaching in
literature and the insights gained/lessons learned/questions raised by
these examples.
1-2 page proposals should be sent to:
Laurie B. Baker
Center for Academic Advising, D-108
PO Box 195
The Richard Stockton College of New Jersey
Pomona, NJ 08240-0195
Proposals must be received no later than Tuesday, September 14th to be
considered.
