Call for Manuscripts/Abstracts: Essays on the practice and teaching of
rhetoric in nineteenth-century American, British, and Continental locales
are invited for a special issue of the journal Nineteenth-Century Prose.
Of particular interest are essays addressing rhetorical action and
instruction outside of academic settings, including professional
publishing, oratory, educational societies, family literacy, biography and
autobiography, letters, and political campaigns. Full-length essays are
preferred (approx. 25 pages). Send manuscripts/abstracts by January 17,
