papers and panels considering the poetry and prose of Randall Jarrell,

this conference will reconsider the impact of the three poets on

Relations with Other Writers -- Prior and Contemporary
Legacy

Other topics, and especially interdisciplinary proposals, are welcome.
(One session will be held at the Cleveland Museum of Art specifically to
encourage papers on inter-arts issues.)

Proposals for 20-minute papers should be 250 words in length, and
submitted by November 30, 1999. Panel proposals should include a brief
abstract of the panel topic, plus no more than three paper proposals.

Please submit abstracts by e-mail when possible, or by mail or fax.
