PRODUCTION, TRANSMISSION & CONSUMPTION OF LATE MEDIEVAL & EARLY MODERN
TEXTS 1450-1650

Friday 19th & Saturday 20th of November 1999

A call for papers: The purpose of this conference is to consider textual
production from late medieval manuscripts through to early modern print
culture. The conference welcomes papers on a variety of themes including
compilers, writers, authors, printers, readers and audiences; patronage,
literary relationships between individual writers, patrons and clients,
and across networks; the production of non literary texts, such as wills,
accounts or commonplace books.

Twenty minute papers on the above or on other related areas are also
welcome. Please send abstracts via email or to the address below by 1st
November.
