          We are pleased to announce the theme of the 8th annual
             Crossing the Boundaries Graduate Conference on
                        March 31 and April 1, 2000

We invite submissions from ALL areas of study and academic disciplines.

possible topics include:
* labor relations
* research and development
* sociology and the psychology of work
* education and teaching
* urbanization and industrialization
* work and the body
* time management and efficiency
* objects of study, archives and methodologies
* representations of work

Crossing the Boundaries is an interdisciplinary conference committed to
providing a forum for the exchange of ideas across traditional disciplinary
boundaries.

Please submit a one-page abstract for a 20 minute presentation and
Curriculum vitae postmarked no later than January 17, 2000. E-mail
submissions are welcome.
