Introducing Amalgamation: An English Studies Journal. We welcome
submissions of original work in various fields of humanities writing:
Theory, Creative Writing, Literature, Rhetoric, Cultural Studies, Folklore
and Pedagogy.
We are graduate students committed to the principle that there is no better
way to learn than through experience. We hope to promote an interesting
discussion between growing and established intellectuals, and feel that
responding to one another's thought and work is the best way to educate
ourselves and cultivate experience for the future.
• The journal will be published biannually via email without a budget
• All submissions will be reviewed via electronic media only
• There will not be a paper version
• Submissions will be juried
• One paper per area of interest will be published per issue
• Limit submissions to 20 pages
Send submissions and queries to amalgamation@hotmail.com. Soliciting
submissions for the Spring 2000 inaugural issue. Send submissions by
