Final Call for Papers, Deadline: December 1, 1999.

The Cold War Conflicts Area invites proposals for papers to be read at the
Annual Meeting of the Southwest/Texas Popular Culture Association/American
Culture Association.

The Meeting convenes in Albuquerque, New Mexico from February 9 to February
12, 2000.

We welcome proposals concerning the ways in which the various aspects of
American popular culture reveal the influence of the military conflicts in
Korea and Vietnam as well as the political and ideological conflicts which
defined the Cold War culture between 1946 and 1989.

Please send proposals of 100-200 words to:
