“The Myth of the Machine in the Garden”
Southwest/Texas Popular Culture Association/American Culture Association
Annual Meeting Albuquerque, NM February 9-12, 2000
This area seeks papers and presentations interpreting any and all
manifestations of the myth of the machine in the garden. Especially
welcome are studies of books, films, etc., set in the Southwest.
Individual proposals (for papers and presentations) should be no more
than 250 words in length and should be sent no later than December 1 to:
