CALL FOR PAPERS: SOUTHWESTERN AMERICAN LITERATURE
The Southwest/ Texas Popular Culture Associations and American Culture
Associations will meet February 9-12, 2000, in Albuquerque, New Mexico, at
the Sheraton Oldtown Hotel. This call for papers is for a session or
series of sessions on Southwestern American Literature with the Southwest
defined broadly, covering all of New Mexico and Arizona, most of Texas and
Oklahoma, Southern California, parts of Nevada, Utah, Wyoming, and
Colorado, and northern Mexico.
Submit paper topics on writers from any of the these areas or writers
who have written about the Southwest such as

Papers are welcomed for our meeting in any language, not in English
alone. Please send abstracts/ proposals in English and copies of abstracts in
English should be provided.
