OCULUS: Journal for the History of Art
Indiana University

Call for Papers

          In its third year of publication, Oculus continues its mission
to publish graduate student papers addressing all areas and periods of Art
History. Graduate students in all disciplines are welcome to submit a
paper for this year's edition.

The deadline for submissions is January 4, 2000.

Submission Requirements:

2,500-Word Limit (approx. 10 double-spaced pages), not including
endnotes

Follow the Chicago Maunal of Style

Sumbit Two Paper Copies and Disk (either in Microsoft Word or Word
Perfect), Consecutively Paginated

Submit a Maximum of Three Illustrations, Clearly Xeroxed. Include Artist,
Name, Title, Date, Dimensions, and Location of the Work. Upon selection,
photographs and proof of reproduction permission will be requested of the
authors.

Do Not Include Author's Name Anywhere in Article, Endnotes, or
Illustration (Anonymous Selection). Instead, please attach to each paper
copy a cover sheet including: Author's Name, Address, Phone, Email, Title
of Paper, Degree Sought, Area of Concentration, and University.

Papers and Disk will Only be Returned if Envelopes and Postage are Sent with
the Submission.

Postmark by January 4, 2000 to be considered for publication. Send Papers
and Disks to:

Notification of intent to publish will be mailed to authors by February 4,
2000.
