Topic: "Contemporary Critical Conversations"
The Carson McCullers Society invites abstracts (200-300 words) or completed
papers that engage, reply to, amplify, modify, or otherwise contribute to
an ongoing critical conversation about contemporary issues in McCullers
studies. Proposals that commemorate the 60th anniversary of the publication
of The Heart Is a Lonely Hunter and Reflections in a Golden Eye (in
Harper's Bazaar) are welcome.
Deadline for Proposals: January 10, 2000
