CFP: Science Fiction and Race (3/15; MLA '00)

The science fiction and utopian and fantastic literature discussion group
(regular session) is soliciting abstracts for papers that focus on various
intersections of RACE AND THE FANTASTIC. Topics may include how race is
articulated and/or problematized in fantastic literature, film,
television, art, or other mediums.
Please send 250 word abstracts, in hard copy AND email, (no attachments,
please!), by 15 March 2000, to the session chair:
