Currently looking for one paper to round out a proposed panel, "The
Posthuman and Beyond," for the RMMLA 2000 meetings in Boise, October
12-14. There are many possible areas of exploration within the
posthuman. Cybernetic and informatic technologies are two areas of the
posthuman which have recently been studied in depth, but other areas exist
for exploration: genetics, virtual subjectivity, and postmodern punk to
name a few.
Please send a one page abstract or completed 8-10 page paper for this
proposed special session to:
