Revising Boundaries: Disciplines in Transition

Texas A&M Commerce (kinda near Dallas) graduate students in English are
hosting their tenth annual EGAD conference. This year’s focus is on the
boundaries within our field as well as the boundaries between English
and other disciplines.

Appropriate papers would focus on any area of literature, rhetoric,
composition studies, linguistics, creative writing, or film studies.
Specific topics might include, but are not limited to, multicultural
perspectives, professional history, graduate student concerns, writing
center theory and practice, critical theory, pedagogy, and pop culture.
Additional panels will be considered as they are suggested.
