The John Clare Society of North America, an Affiliate Organization of the
MLA, welcomes paper proposals for its 2000 panel, titled, "Expanding the
Clare Canon."
We are seeking papers that offer detailed readings of, and contexts for,
Clare's poetry and prose, especially papers that focus on lesser-known and/or
neglected works.
Deadline for abstracts is March 1, and can be sent to:
