"Environmental Literature and Criticism" is a panel at the annual Central New
York Conference on Language & Literature, SUNY-Cortland, Cortland, NY, Oct.
29-31, 2000
Papers may focus on literature that prominently features nature or on
criticism that investigates the environment surrounding the writer during the
time the work was created. An excellent example is John DeStefano's "
Political and Social Criticism in `The Calme' by John Donne," on the Internet

Please send or attach, in text or in Word 97 or earlier, your COMPLETED PAPERS
(no abstracts, please) of about 2,000-2,500 words, in MLA style:
