       A Creative and Critical Graduate
       Review at Temple University

    Call for Submissions: Issue 4.1

       Schuylkill invites submissions of creative and critical work from
    mid-Atlantic graduate students for its seventh issue on the theme of
    “Crosscurrents: Fin-de-siècle fears, fantasies, and frenzies” to correspond
    with our annual conference in April. Conference participants are especially
    encouraged to submit.

          * Poetry
          * Fiction
          * Photography and visual art (black & white)
          * Pedagogical essays
          * Creative nonfiction
          * Critical essays (all disciplines)

       Schuylkill is a peer-reviewed, interdisciplinary graduate journal serving
    Temple University and the Mid-Atlantic region (Pennsylvania, New York, New
    Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, and Washington, D.C.), produced in both print
    and online versions. Preference is given to work that appeals to a wide
    academic audience. Critical submissions to Schuylkill are indexed by the MLA
    Bibliography.

    Send 2 blind copies, with name and contact information on cover sheet only
