    The XIVth Medieval-Renaissance Conference (The University of Virginia’s
    College at Wise, Sept. 21-23, 2000) is pleased to announce a special
    session on Intersections of the Arts. Papers may focus on any of the
    ways in which medieval and early modern works of the literary and visual
    arts inform each other. Topics may include such issues as: manuscript
    illustration and illumination; intertextual relations between text and
    painting; tapestry art as narrative poetry, etc.

    Please submit a brief abstract accompanied by a one-page vita by June 17
