POSTGRADUATE ENGLISH: UPDATE
Postgraduate English (UK): A Journal and Forum for Postgraduates in
English in the UK and EU
Papers are  still invited for vol. 2 of this new journal (September
2000), for an extended  deadline of 10th July 2000.
Postgraduates in English in the UK or  in any EU country are welcome to
submit papers of up to 7,000 words, which should conform to MLA
guidelines in presentation and SHOULD BE DESPATCHED BY THE  REVISED
DEADLINE OF July 10th.
A prize of 300 pounds will be awarded to the best  academic paper to
appear in the journal during 2000.  Further details on the journal's
page "submissions".
WE ALSO WELCOME ARTICLES OF ACADEMIC JOURNALISM ON POSTGRADUATE ISSUES
FOR OUR "FORUM" SECTION (THOUGH THESE ARE NOT ELIGIBLE FOR THE
COMPETITION).
