    Papers are solicited for a proposed panel on the dynamics in a women's
    literature class for the inaugural meeting of the SSAWW, a new society
    affiliated with the journal Legacy. We are seeking papers which address the
    problems and issues facing instructors of women's literature courses in
    coeducational classrooms. Since part of the course intent is to challenge
    common assumptions and traditional belief systems of society as a whole and
    our students in particular, the subject matter is sometimes met with
    resistance and misunderstanding. We are particularly interested in papers
    which explore nontraditional pedagogical approaches to the women's
    literature classroom and offer suggestions for creating a healthy and open
    learning environment.
