Call for Papers
The Elizabethan & English Renaissance Area of the Popular Culture
Association invites submissions on any aspect of popular culture in England
from c. 1500 1700 for the 31st Annual National Conference of the Popular
Culture Association at the Philadelphia Marriott Hotel April 11-14, 2001.
Topics include, but are not limited to: popular entertainment, popular
literature, popular music, gender, self and group identity, literacy,
education, dress, popular religion, popular politics, regionalism and
nationalism.
Both panels and single papers will be considered.
