    Time, Place and the Autobiographical Self

    I am calling for abstracts on time and place in autobiographical
    literature for the 2001 conference of the American Comparative Literature
    Association. I am interested in abstracts that deal with place and
    identity, exile or immigrant autobiographers, childhood in autobiography,
    and recent theoretical models of autobiography and the autobiographical
    self. Comparative abstracts on related topics are also welcome.
