    The Metropolitan State College of Denver Honors Program is sponsoring its
    third annual conference entitled Multiculturalism: A Global
    Perspective. We are seeking proposals which deal with aspects of the
    multicultural experience from all relevant disciplines. The presentations
    should address issues like assimilation, pluralism, or post-ethnicity
    throughout the world.

    The conference will be held on the MSCD campus on Nov. 1, 2, and 3. Please
    send a 200-word abstract by September 1, 2000. E-mail submissions are
    acceptable.

    The conference will feature a plenary address by Stephen Ryan of Magee
    College of the University of Ulster.
