    The Flannery O'Connor Society is requesting papers and paper proposals
    for a panel entitled, "The Surprising Joy(s) of Flannery O'Connor" which
    will be part of Art and Soul: A Conference on Religion and the Arts to
    be held at Baylor University in Waco, TX.

    Papers are particularly sought which deal with connections between
    O'Connor's writing and thought and that of the Oxford Christians. Such
    connections might include but are not limited to: the influence of any
    of the Oxford Christians on O'Connor, her views and comments on the
    Oxford Christians, or conflicts and contrasts between O'Connor's art and
    thought and that of the Oxford Christians.
