THE REVIEW OF EDUCATION, PEDAGOGY AND CULTURAL STUDIES

The Review of Education/Pedagogy/Cultural Studies is the only journal that
publishes critical essays relating pedagogy to a wide variety of political,
social, cultural and economic issues. We are particularly concerned with
issues regarding how pedagogy works within and across a variety of sites,
how pedagogical practices emerge out of specific historical struggles,
concrete projects, and particular relations of power. We welcome submissions
that are interdisciplinary, particularly those that address the relationship
race, class, age and gender as the latter relate to particular projects,
struggles, and issues. We strongly discourage short essays that focus on a
single book. Instead, we prefer critical essays that address specific issues
and/or multiple texts.
Prospective contributors should write to editor with a proposal describing
specific areas or recent texts of interest. Such letters should be
accompanied by a writing sample and curriculum vita.
